A blind woman (Jessica Alba) has a chance to see again when she receives eye transplants. But after the surgery, she begins to see things she can not explain and wonders if her eyes are portals into the supernatural.

Two dogs are seen walking through the yard of a factory as Paul (Alessandro Nivola) and Sydney (Jessica Alba) arrive. One trainer placed the dogs on their marks and released them, cuing them to walk to another off-screen trainer, who retrieved them. Sydney looks into an aquarium and sees a fish swimming around. The fish and the tank were supplied and maintained by Coral Island, an aquatic supply store. On television, a horse is lying down while a woman pets it. The production provided documentation for purchasing the stock footage for this television scene.
