Bob Marley: One Love (2024)

In the scene where the actor walks out of the house and gets on a horse and rides off, the horse arrived to the set in a horse trailer. Once parked the horse was unloaded and tied safely to the string on a tie ring. He was given a hay net and had access to water.

The trailer was parked next to the stage entrance where the filming would take place. On action, horse stood patiently as actor moved through internal set and out towards him, actor slipped rope from noseband and moved round to the horses left side gathering his reins and facing the rear of the horse as if to mount. In a different shot, the actor mounted the horse and walked away in a slow gallop.

In the flashback where the boy sees a man on horseback with a field on fire behind him, prior to filming the horse, production placed flame bars in a safe distance behind actors and horse. They also made the flames looks stronger and closer in post production through CGI. The horse was brought to its mark. The actor mounted the horse, the boy approached man on horseback. The man helped the boy get on back of horse.

In the scene where we see the boy get on back of horse before they ride off, they employed same precautions.

In the scene where the actors walk outside of a music venue in London and we see policemen on horseback, the set was closed to the public road. Four stuntmen in police uniforms mounted horses and rode them from A to B. Action was slow canter only.
