The Matrix Resurrections (2021)

In the scene when the actors are engaged in a gunfight in an office building, and one of the actors reaches for a gun and sees a cat, with the place drenched in water from the fire alarm, ultrasound gel was used as makeup to make the cat appear wet.
The trainers names are Rodger and Gabby. The cat was brought to set in a crate. The set was an office space with cubicles. In the scene the fire sprinklers have been turned on from an explosion. The floor is linoleum with a quarter to a half inch of standing water on the ground. Prior to filming the scene, the wrangler placed the cat on the floor. Holding the cat’s attention with a feed stick, the cat looked towards the actor as he falls on the ground. The cat didn’t react negatively to the water on the ground.

In the scene where the cat walks near the shrink’s feet, on action, the wrangler cued the cat to walk across the desk, stop at the edge and look. Then he cued the cat to jump down to a food dish. This scene was filmed in segments.

In the scene when the actors sit in a garage and talk with a cat sitting on a table between them, prior to shooting the scene, the wranglers placed the cat on a metal table of standard height. Two apple boxes were next to the table to shorten the jump from the cat. On action, the wrangler used a feed stick to cue the cat to stay and look to to its left and right. Then he used a buzzer to cue the cat to jump down. The cat preformed the action well.

In the scene where we see a cat walking on a ledge outside and a building explodes behind him, the cat was filmed against a green screen in a studio. Then they used that footage to make it look as if it were filmed outside.
