Lock-Up (1989)

It's Rocky behind bars as Frank Leone (Sylvester Stallone) fights to survive the tortures of a sadistic, vindictive warden played by Donald Sutherland. The warden has it "in" for Frank, because he is the only man ever to have escaped the warden's high-security, living-hell of a prison. When Frank is transferred back to the warden's prison he has just six months left to serve on his sentence, and he is determined to make it.

Guard dogs on leashes, pigeons and rats are mostly atmosphere. In one scene the prisoners are wagering on racing cockroaches. The roaches were brought to the set by a bug wrangler, who took them all back after the scene was completed.
