Ernest Saves Christmas (1988)

Ernest, an amiable but bungling cab-driver, picks up a passenger at a Florida airport. The passenger is the real Santa Claus, dressed in street attire, but carrying his Santa sack which has magical powers. Ernest also meets a slightly dishonest young girl, who has run away from home. The well-meaning Ernest decides to help both Santa and the teen.
