Da 5 Bloods (2021)
Four African-American Vietnam veterans return to Vietnam. They are in search of the remains of their fallen squad leader and the promise of buried treasure. These heroes battle forces of humanity and nature while confronted by the lasting ravages of the immorality of the Vietnam War.
Animal Action
In the scene where a woman places a snake on a block, chops its head off and hands the rest of the snake to a man, a fake scene was used for this scene. IN the background there was a pig positioned on his mark. Chickens were placed in baskets for the scene. All the animals were provided food and water between takes.
In the scene where the men walk through a rice paddy and pass by a man with a water buffalo, the water buffalo was handled by the farmers that own them. Both adult water buffalo had halters attached at all times.
