Women Talking (2023)
In the scene where we see group of men walking on dirt road with horses and wagons,
prior to shooting the horses were harnessed and hitched to single horse buggies at trailer area. The trainers rode horses to set alongside the buggy horses. On action, the actors loaded prop objects into buggies, stepped into and off buggies.
Camera setups changed to focus on sections of the lineup of halted buggies. Wrangler Drivers unhitched horses and provided hay and water when not in frame. Horse and buggies remained at halt.
In the scene where the actress drives a horse and buggy down a road and it gets spooked by a barking dog, the trainer drove the horse and buggy and halted on dirt path in front of stationary camera. Also, prior to filming, the wrangler placed the dog on mark in front of camera and thirty feet in front of horses. Wrangler verbally cued dog.
