Animal Action
In the scene where the man approaches the actors holding his dog, the trainer brought the dog to the set and placed him in the actor’s arms. They rehearsed one take with the actor holding the dog in which the trainer cued her to bark while the actor delivered his lines. The actor carried the dog from point A to B. Then the trainer rewarded the dog with a treat. On action, the animal action was reset and repeated.
