In the scene where the actor runs from the police and hides under a house, and a police car pulls up with a cop and police dog on a leash, the path to set was free and clear of all obstacles. Dog was brought to set on a collar and leash. Dog had experience on set. On action, the trainer cued the dog to bark.

In the scene where the actor shows off his new farm and we see a horse in the background, the horse is walked to set, the path is clear. Upon completion, the owner led the horse back to the barn where he is placed into his stall with free choice hay and water.

In the scene where we see the actor walking with the calf slung over his shoulders, the calf was created by CGI.
