Stepdaughter, The

The Stepdaughter is a murderous tale of revenge that takes place on a horse ranch. The owner of the prosperous ranch takes pity on a girl whose car supposedly breaks down. He is short-handed and she just happens to know her way around horses. As the story unfolds, it is clear that she wants more than just a part-time job.

Featured Animal Action

Horses are seen throughout the film as background atmosphere on the ranch. The animals are seen loose in the pasture, tied in the paddock or in the barn stalls. In one scene, a wrangler loads a horse into a trailer. Occasionally, one of the dogs that lived at the location is seen in the background.
