Featured Animal Action

When Sam calls on Mrs. Letham, he meets a bull mastiff named Olive lying in the foyer. Moments later, Olive growls at Sam and attacks his arm while he attends to Mrs. Letham's head wound.

For this intense scene, the trainer prepped the dog to grab a padded arm and pull. After exciting Olive by playing towel tug-of-war, the trainer transferred the game to the padded arm worn by a stunt double. The trainer put Olive in a sit-stay position about six feet from the stuntman, who reached out to touch Mrs. Letham's shoulder. The trainer then verbally cued the dog to bark and "get it", meaning to walk forward and grab the stuntman's arm. From behind the camera, the trainer gave the "off!" command and Olive released the arm.

In one scene, Henry visits an aquarium and watches the walruses through an underwater viewing area. This action was filmed at the Coney Island Aquarium and production did not interfere with or disturb the park's walrus exhibit.
