Drugstore Cowboy

Drugstore Cowboy follows the self-destructive paths of Bob, his wife Diane, Rick and Nadine in their never ending search for drugs. Drugs are their only reason to exist and they're always just one step ahead of the police. After Nadine dies of an overdose, Bob leaves the group and tries rehabilitation, but even that plan is doomed.

The one bright moment in this otherwise depressing dirge is a flashback scene in which Diane recalls how their dog, Panda, leads the police to them. The dog is adorable.
